What to include
Include the workbook file type, whether you were protecting or unlocking, the visible error message, and whether the file was created by VBA Shield with a recovery password. Do not email confidential workbooks unless support explicitly asks for a sanitized sample.
Unlocking protected copies
VBA Shield can unlock only protected copies created by VBA Shield with a recovery password. If no recovery password was set when the copy was created, the app cannot restore VBA code viewing for that copy.
Local processing
Workbook processing happens on your Windows PC. VBA Shield does not upload workbook contents or VBA code to a server.
